The Network Embedded Generator (NEG™) is a containerised, fully modular and transportable unit that combines a fossil fuelled generator, grid-connect inverter equipment, switchgear and remote communications.

The NEG™ is added in parallel to the grid supply to improve quality of supply and allow an increase in available supply capacity to the customer. The unit(s) can operate grid connected or in stand-alone "islanded" mode. The NEG™ is purpose designed to work with wind turbines in high penetration mode to offset diesel fuel use, value adding to a renewable energy supply.
