Home Island in the Cocos Island group is located about 3000km north west of Perth. Approximately 480 people live on the island.
D&WS worked with Powercorp to install a new power station on the island. The system comprises 1.28MW of diesel fuelled generators and an 80kW wind farm. Construction is now complete.
